It was one of the hottest day this summer so far, the recent showers and winds have made the air so humid , we were sweating bullets. Got out in the noon to visit a friends farm in the nearby hills and see whats on score.

I've been smoking vati for over twenty three years. Vati the seedless one. Whose whole existence is for better communication with our universal consciousness.We drove through some of the most beautiful green clad hills in search of one of our local friends, found out he was at one of his favourite smoking haunts.

There at his farm there was his old father. He had such a mesmerising warm smile. He was a genuine old timer and a Shiva bhakta. Telling me that he had been in trance 24 X 7 X 365 X81 , man that was some smoking. He was sad though, that we young people had forgotten our roots. In his youth he said that for any sickness people always used Nalla Mandu or black medicine (charas). He spoke of union with all living things. He offered his prayers to Shiva with his self made handcrafted clay pipe.

He reminded me that what one smoked was what one needed or deserved at that moment. He was so content sitting there on his land , harvesting his mangoes and smoking his prayers, a constant tapasya ( serious meditation ). Smoked a few prayers with him and a whole load of mess up in my mind just cleared away.

We believe what the western world is hard selling now a days, who are these impudent men, who are so scared of their own, and everyone's mind? Who had the nuts to even suggest that a plant can harm you.

By the time we were calling him baba ,some of his understandings, like all trees were sages who after ending their circle of life , wishing to bless, help and to share with us our spiritual search.So they take birth in the form of a tree and on with their communion with god.

He had such an air about him that wherever he looked butterflies rose by their hundreds, the crickets were in concert. There was so much electric in the air.

When asked if he ever saw his Shiva, he smiled and said that he saw him everywhere,and added that when the consciousness of Shiva awakens amongst us his prescence is detected or felt by every living organism, but we have become limited in our thoughts and busy with our empty lives refusing ourselves god.

first contact,
a few days ago
plucking mangoes...feeding emus,
a worker fell,
and broke his leg,
took him to an orthopedic,
who put his smile back on,
and told him to ,
look before he leapt...
and not to trust young branches with his weight,
later... a pain cropped up in my neck...
was it the pain from my recapped molars,
capped in steel ,
one of my favourite metals,
were temprature sensitive,
decided to get full ceramic,
the orthodontist, he was brutal,
analgesic they are so careless with,
numbness and the beggining of my pains,
a pain from my lungs,
know i smoke too much,
but i chose to live the,
shiva way, stoned in trance 24X7X367Xlife,
for he inspired me most,
when my mind needed itself,
on pain killers for the molars,
all these other pains, were they a warning,
these cancerous thoughts,
the memories of your dad...
the reality around ...
was busy with designing our website,
looking up friends for guidance,
recently read eleven minutes...
understood what we had,
too precious to be labelled,
chao catch you laterz...lol
